We aim for a WCAG 2.2 Level AA floor so older adults and tired caregivers can use this site on phones and desktops.
Measures we take
- Skip link to main content
- One clear H1 per page
- Visible focus styles
- Body text at 18px+
- Target contrast goals of at least 4.5:1 for text
- Minimum 44px touch targets for primary controls
- Labeled form fields on the Visit page
- Meaningful image alt text
- No auto-playing carousels
- Respect for prefers-reduced-motion
Known limits
Some older gallery images from public listings are low resolution. Embedded Google Maps iframes are third-party content that may not meet the same standards as our own HTML.
